The Profession of Faith is Johns Carlock’s debut novel introducing Kelly Braxton. Veteran MI6 operative of 12 years. John is in process of his second novel following Kelly as she sorts through the web of lies, tragedy, and the end times.

MI6 agent Kelli Braxton is sent to investigate a murder of a British MP, but just as she digs into the cause of the murder, she uncovers a global religious group operating behind the scenes. Soon, she finds herself running for her life when the same group tries to assassinate her. This is when she meets Timothy Hobart, ex US Marine officer RECON of 20 years. Together, they embark on this tumultuous quest.
Profession of Faith is a thrilling tale of how religion can be used to wage wars, and human history is the biggest lesson showing it. The book not only follows agent Kelli and Timothy chasing the cabal while running for their lives, but also a tale of how two strangers were brought together under the most inopportune circumstances.
